Kamila Konotop won three gold medals

Kamila Konotop won three gold medals out of three in Batumi, as the women competed for medals in the 58 kg weight category at the end of the third competition day of the European Championships.
With a clean sweep, Ukraine’s Kamila Konotop emerged as the hero of the day, proving best in both the snatch (110) and the clean and jerk (121), and accordingly topping the total with 221 kilograms.
Armenia’s Alexandra Grigoryan took the second step of the podium in the total. She finished outside the top three in the snatch (91), but recorded the third-best result in the clean and jerk (119), which led her to the silver medal with a total of 210 kilograms.
In the total, with 209 kilograms, the bronze medal went to neutral athlete Olga Te, who recorded the third-best result in the snatch (93), while placing fourth in the clean and jerk (116).
Medals in the individual lifts went to Italy’s Noemi Filippazzo and Ukraine’s Olha Ivzhenko. Filippazzo won the silver medal in the snatch (94), while Ivzhenko earned the corresponding award in the clean and jerk (120).
